After the market, we saw Southwark Cathedral and went over to the Tate Modern. It's an art museum dedicated to modern art. I was fascinated by it! I loved seeing the different interpretations of the artists.
Then we were finished with our assigned activities for the day, so we went on a walk along the Thames. We found another Harry Potter site!
Fun fact: When they originally built the bridge it was not stable and it swayed in the wind, so they tore it down and built it again. We all said the Death Eaters ruined it.
We kept walking and we finally saw BIG BEN! It hadn't quite felt like London until then.

We crashed at the centre for a couple of hours and then about half of us went to a London Philharmonic Concert! (The other half went to Avengers - yeah, it's already been out here for more than a week!) We scored tickets for 4 pounds and they were great seats! They played a Messiaen piece, a Beethoven Piano Concerto, and a Tchaikovsky symphony. It was honestly one of the best concerts I've ever been to! It was interesting to see what a British audience is like - they clapped in between all of the movements and only about half of the audience gave a standing ovation at the end.

After that, it was homework time. We have so much reading to do and it's been really hard to balance reading with our exploring time. Luckily we had this morning off before heading to church - our walk took us through Hyde Park and past Kensington Palace! Hopefully it dries out enough for us to try out the bikes they have in the park!
